Great ads create awareness and interest with panache & brevity and leave you with an overwhelming desire to engage with the brand.
This one, not so much.
Some might say it’s messaging is clear, but I imagine there could be some confusion at the end.
This is rather drastic. I know everyone has felt this way at some point, but in doing this you probably shoot yourself in the foot too…
“Look, I’m a great designer. I am awesome at cropping, clipping, contextualizing and have a natural flair for design. My only weakness is spelling, but hey, that’s what spellcheck is for.”
“Why I’m looking for a job? Oh, I just got bored. It was kind of a mutual thing. My creative director and I both left the agency at the same time. I hate to talk behind my employers back, but they lost a major client last week, so they’re probably going to fold.”
